Nicole Graf is representing the german federal state Saarland, but actually she is the Personification of the region and so a lot older than 90 years.
Her Appearence is that of a very small girl around 15, so she looks younger than the most other german federal states.
Her ancestry is mostly celtic but she's strongly roman and german influenced. She has a curl, standing for her roman ruled past, but it is a lot weaker than that of the italies.
She's wearing traditional moselle franconian cloths.
Saarland has a pet lion, which is also shown on her crest and flag. Its name is Villeroy, after a big ceramics company, Villeroy&Boch that is among other things producing toilet bowls. that animal has a little Problem with its bladder...its incontinent. Nicole doesn't really care about it, but Germany sometimes gets a bit angry, when he finds little yellow puddles in his kitchen or wet spots in his cloths.

If she's relaxed Nicole speaks Rhine Franconian or Moselle Franconian, a dialect she's sharing with Luxembourg, Alsace and Lorraine (as well as with Rhineland-Palatine...but she ignores that fact), it's a german dialect.
Saarlandish is more straight forward and less sing-songy though.
She also tries to speak High German and knows a bit French and English.

Nicole is local patriotic.
She feels at home in the whole "Großregion Loxemburg" (Wallonie, Luxemburg, Lorraine, Alsace, Rhineland-Palatine, Saarland and sometimes Baden), more specifically the region "SaarLorLux"(Saaland,Lorraine, Luxembourg) and says about herself, that she's the most beautiful german federalstate in the world... when you've ever visited her place you will agree with her.

Saarland is small.
The other federalstates sometimes forget about her, since she isn't doing anything special in nowadays.
In the past Germany and France fought a lot about her, Alsace and Lorraine, since they had a lot of heavy industry and brought money. Now the heavy industry is almost gone or is paid by the EU and Germany and France don't care that much about their frontier regions anymore.
they aren the richest regions in nowadays.

Nicole likes to eat and to cook, and is a good host. It's nice to be around her, she smiles a lot and always tries to be friends with everyone (except Rhineland-Palatine), but she also tends to talk behind someones back.
She can be very bountiful and you can have a very good time with her, but in the end she's a bit egocentric.
She's the classical little sister type. very endearing and cute, so that you just want to spoil her...she sometimes takes advantage of that.
Nici isn't lazy but she's only working when she decides by herself to do so. If you try to force her, she can get slightly rebellious and destroy your machines, so you should avoid doing that.
She's believing in "Nachbarschaftshilfe" (neighbourly help) and "eine Hand wäscht die andere" (One hand washes the other) and acts on that. So she will help you, if it is possible for her, but she also expects that you'll do the same for her.
She's sometimes not playing strictly after the rules, but she's not vicious.

In contrary to the northern german federalstates she's very physical and likes hugging people and kissing them on their cheeks.
Nobody really knows, what France taught her during the times she was part of his property, but appearently it wasn't that bad in her opinion, 'cause she's still very affectionate towards him and likes to visit his house and her older sisters Lorraine and Alsace.

Since she was part of his property in the past and not very happy about that fact, Nicole can't stand Prussia.
She tends to throw little statuettes of Mother Mary at him, if he comes too close...of course only if there's someone around to protect her, when he gets angry or agressive towards her.

If you ask her, why she hates Rhineland-Palatine so much, you probably will get a very emotional, not very structured answer that is riddled with swear words.
One big reason is probably, that from time to time Germany and the other federalstates say, that she should life in Rhineland-Palatines house...she likes to be on her own, and so she acts defiantly towards the big neighbouring federal state next to her.

She was really on her own in the past, since she was autonomous from 1920-1935 and from 1947-1957 and sometimes she still likes to gloat about that time even if she doesn't hate to be German now.
she even had her own football national team and won against Norway once...and against the B teams of France and Switzerland.
